Fairfax Adult Softball, Inc. (FAS) is the  largest, most established and stable adult softball program in Northern Virginia, as well as the largest private softball organization in the United States.  Recently voted the # 1 amateur sports organization in Northern Virginia, we provide both team and individual (free agent) registration for our Spring, Summer and Fall seasons. We offer leagues for competitive, as well as recreational players of all skill levels and adults of all ages. Our decades of professional and cooperative service is evidenced by our nearly 90% team retention rate year after year.

FAS was organized originally to promote the participation in, and administration of, adult softball in Fairfax County, VA on behalf of the individual participants at all levels of play and we have stayed true to our cause.  We promote and foster our member teams’ participation in national and international softball competitions annually and our teams and our members have won several National and International Championships through the years. Our three distinct seasons of play and leagues of varying skill levels offer the entire community an opportunity to compete at the levels they are most comfortable with, as well.  We offer several leagues within our program and each league is divided into divisions, based upon skill levels and performance. Our goal is to have each division be competitive, so we try to place each team in a division with other teams at the same caliber of play.

FAS is a nonprofit corporation, incorporated in May 1977, and is registered in the Commonwealth of Virginia. We are governed by a Board of Directors, each of whom is elected at the annual meeting of the Corporation, and they in turn, vote for an Executive Committee of five Officers. All Directors and Officers serve without financial compensation. FAS has two full time paid staff members to administer the program, but our operation depends heavily upon the countless volunteer hours donated by its participants, Directors and Officers.

Our mailbox is located at 5746 Union Mill Road #578 Clifton, VA 20124. Business hours are 9:30 a.m. – 5:00 p.m. weekdays (except Fairfax County government holidays). Call us (703) 815-9007 for more information or send us an e-mail: office@fairfaxadultsoftball.com.
